Samuels second in Stockholm

NSWIS athlete Dani Samuels has continued her excellent form by winning a silver medal at the Stockholm leg of the 2014 Diamond League.

Coming off a gold medal in the women’s discus at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Samuels added to her impressive list of results in 2014 with a silver medal in Sweden.

The Commonwealth champion’s best throw was 65.70m, just over one metre short of the eventual champion from Croatia, with Samuels now sitting third on the overall Diamond League rankings for the women’s discus.
