Rising rowing stars selected

Seven NSWIS rowers have been selected on the Australian under-23 rowing team heading to the Henley Regatta and world championships later this year.

Included on the team are NSWIS athletes Spencer Turrin (men’s eight), Scott Woodward, Aaron Wright, William Raven (all men’s coxed four), Ryan Edwards, Alexander Belonogoff and Jay Ditmarsch (all men’s quad scull).

The septet will compete at the 2012 Henley Regatta in Great Britain from June 27 – July 1, before heading to the 2012 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Lithuania.
