Diving duo to face the best

Two NSWIS athletes have been selected on the Australian team heading to the 2014 FINA Diving Junior World Championships in Russia.

NSWIS divers Nick Jeffree and Brittany O’Brien were awarded spots on the team following the recent Australian Elite Junior Championships, where they both posted medal winning performances.

O’Brien won gold in the girl’s A platform, while Jeffree took silver in the boy’s A platform and bronze in the boy’s A 1m and A 3m springboard events.

The junior world championships take place in Penza, Russia from 9-14 September 2014.
